Bio: AUC has the good fortune of possessing excellent infrastructure. Our three-story classroom building has fourteen lassrooms, six full bathrooms, libraries, a laboratory, faculty offices and a guesthouse. All of this infrastructure needs a lot of upkeep, and that is where JeanJean Michel shines. JeanJean has been working at AUC for almost for 15 years now.

As the maintenance coordinator, it isn’t enough for JeanJean to be an excellent electrician and plumber. He needs to know a bit about everything. And, it seems that he does. keeping the generator in shape, trouble shooting the ultra-violet water treatment system, and small engine repair are just a sampling of the varied tasks that call on his skills. “I like the fact that I have lots of different jobs to do” JeanJean says, “and we all really work together here.” JeanJean has lived in Cayes his whole life with his wife Francoise Amazan and four children. His favorite pastimes are playing with his children and fixing things for his friends.
